I had a great time at the quilting course with Mona Rosvold Bauge : )  .. during the two days we learned how to make these lovely .. ehh .. dont know what you call them in english ; ) .. to put under your plate when eating .. you got it ? ; )

My new Kaffe Fassett fabrics .. my first Kaffe Fassett fabrics ever.  Washed and ironed, ready for use.  First I have to finish the quilting course I am attending this week.  Then I will have guests coming to stay this weekend.  Monday will have to be the start on the Kaffe Fassett project ; )) .. cant wait : ))

Perfect storage for my fabrics.

I did a UFO ! .. When I bought my sewing machine .. my second .. I went to a course in order to learn how to use it.  Then we har to make a small "bag".  I didnt have the time to finish it, and I didnt know how to finish it.  So today it was either to have a go and try to finish it or throw it away.  I will not even comment on the colors.  Wasnt my choise.

I went to Geiranger this weekend .. for a walk .. 21 km , from the fjord to the top of a mountain .. it took me five hours .. The wiev was fantastic .. the experience was fantastic ; )) .. I will do it again next year ; ))

My table that I had made in Beijing when I lived there some years ago .. the black border is perfect for my quilt.. I just have to make it a little bit wider .. I have to work fast, because the next project is developing in my mind .. and its sooo exciting .. for me that is ; ))

I have looked trough my quilting book for the perfect border for my quilt .. then I look down to the livingroom .. and there it is .. no .. not my husband .. next to him .. the table : ))

He is holding on to the remote control .. its time for the European Championship of football .. so I stay up here .. in my studio ; ))

Okey! .. ready for the applique ..

I like the blue border a lot .. it makes the blue in the "flowers" stand out.  I will also make a dark brown border on the outside.  Will also make some flowers or something else on the white border .. maybe some bright colors ..

Ready for some borders .. and some stems and flowers in bright colors .. will sleep on it ; )

From a distance this looks good...but its the back of the quilt .. I have to remove the paper before I do anything else to it... 

So far so good .. I will keep on going until I feel its enough.  Maybe it looks a little bit boring .. I will have to do something interesting with the border. 

A late evening trip by the ocean .. good for clearing the mind and getting some exercise .. Its the vest of Norway .. an island outside the city on Bergen .. beautiful scenery : ))
