A plan with no plan ...

This is my desk at the time.  doesnt look too bad.  How do I make this look like christmas ?
I probably need some softer shapes : )

This is how the backside i s looking like.
The paper is still there . I will remove them later.
You can see the red thread I used to attach the fabric to the paper.  Will remove the thread when I remove the paper.
This makes every diamond the same size and shape.  Perfect  : )

English Paper Sewing with no plan : )

Started something new.  I have no plan, just vant to use reds and whites.  Thinking of christmas I guess : )
Have to have some gifts ready soon.  Will just see where it ends : )
I just bought  (again : )) a book with a lot of nice patterns.  Its called "Quiltegleder" , and it is written by Rie Norum and Hilde Aanerud Krogh. The pattern I like , is called "English paper sewing".  I do the diamonds : )  It is nice to be able to move around the house with this project.  But I still dont know how many , how big it is going to be.

My room ..... need some uncluttering !

The wall next to my desk, and my messy desk.  I am working on some christmas things at the moment ... or at least trying to ; )  .... will tidy the place up today .... I think : )  It is really lovely weather outside today .... a rare thing around here at this time of year .... I better enjoy it : )

Messy or just a place for creativity ?

Originally I felt that this should be enough space for me to be creative .... but I filled it pretty quick : )
I tell my husband it is too small ... he will never get it .   He told me ; next time we build a house, we will first set up your room , and then we build the rest of it around it.  A very good idea I think : )

Love is in the eye of the beholder : )

At last ... its finished.  Doesn't look too bad ... if I say so myself.  Had to spend some time to assembly all the parts.  I do not think I will give you all a closer look.
It will only  reveal all my mistakes.  I m still learning : )  So .... quilt police .... keep your distance : )  Look at the big picture .... hehe .
Now I can start looking at my newly bought books .... jippy !
And of course .. christmas is getting closer .... a lot of presents needs to be made .  Jolly good .... hihi
