Mug Rugs ....

I have just discovered the possibilities of Mug Rugs .. This I like  .. I am now able to finish a piece of work in just one day .. yeahh !! .. I will make some for my friends and for my husband ; )
I have also .. at last .. been able to change my blog .. I have hated it for a long time now .. One day I will even be able to control my pictures .. but one thing at the time .. or five .. I am a woman : ))

Instead of working on the accounting for my husbands business, this was what I ended up doing ... I collect cards and this was a chicken from one of then .. I,m quite pleased with it .. Its happy colors .. Now I have made lots of chicken bodies .. trying to only use bright colors .. I like the work .. could make hundreds of then .. nice shapes ; )

Almost finished one group of chickens : ) .. just need to make tales and eyes .. and finish the legs .. what next? .. I dont know .. maybe a pillow .. mayby a table runner .. maybe a picture .. time will show .. this is a with no goal ... I,m enjoying the time doing it ; )) ...  I will let you know

Look ! Doesnt it look good ?   So clean .... I am very happy with the result .   The small picture show how accurate the blocks are .  I am going to make maybe five rows with flying geese.  Then I will have white parts between them.  I will decide later what I will make on the white parts.  Maybe I will applique ... or embroider.... or both : )

I haver started the new year with trying out one of the cool tools I bought in  Houston last year.  The Wing Clipper.
One of my problems has always been getting the blocks the same size.  No problem any more ... when making Flying Geese ... I m so happy to have this tool in my possesion : )
I recommend everybody to buy it.
