Had to order more fabric ..

This is how far I have got .. I have chosen the fabrics for the inner border, but had to order some for the outer border.  Nothing I had was the right one.  Have finished one of the backings though ; ) .. in all yellow Kaffe Fassett fabrics ..

Looks like two sisters .. with different personality .. but the same moulding ; )

The back of the quilt will look like this .. one of them at least .. maybe the other in another color .. I use what I have left .

Keep working on my Kaffe Fassett projects... still fun and interesting .. have to get them ready for quilting .. which I will do at my cabin at the mountain.  Have to tink fast about what to use as the backing.  Have to be something interesting also .. cant use onle white .. too boring ; ))

I have been sitting the whole day working on this project .. love love love the colors .. my favorites.  I have probably done lots of mistakes when it comes to what fabrics to put where, but I dont care: ))  I have used the fabric I like, and put it wherever I like.  And this is the result.  I like it!  Hope you like it too ; ))

Love these colors ..

Do I think about which colors to use where, or do I just go for it .. I am going to make one in brown/red .. one in yellow .. and one in green.  This is so much fun .. I do forget that I have to tidy my house now and again .. but its me and only boys in this house .. I dont think they will notice .. as long as there is food in the fridge ... I can do whatever : ))

I have started the Kaffa Fassett fabric project .. I found a pattern from a Applique book by Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins.  I like their books a lot.  Its not an exact copy, but something like it.
Hope its going to look like I expect it to.  It sure will be fun doing it anyway. 

Pattern almost finished .. like my pot better ; ) .. will make the rest as I go ..
